Mrs Hinch is a cleaning influencer with over four million Instagram followers. She rose to fame by posting tidying and cleaning tips and tricks on social media.

Now, fans of Mrs Hinch have created their own social media pages in her honour.

On one such Facebook page, over 100,000 members share cleaning advice with one another.

This week, one person wanted to know how best to clean their windows and other glass objects in their house.

The Mrs Hinch fan asked for suggestions on the “best window and glass cleaner”.

Fortunately, other members of the page had plenty of window cleaning advice.

The post garnered tens of likes and almost 1,000 comments.

Some cleaning enthusiasts recommended natural methods to clean windows, while others advised using chemical solutions.

Of the natural ways to clean glass, one simple and extremely cheap method stood out from the rest: hot soapy water.

One person wrote: “Hot soapy water works every time for me.”

Another person commented: “Hot, soapy water, window Vac and microfibre cloth for buffing any odd smears!”

Another cleaning enthusiast agreed. They said: “Warm water with a wee bit [of] Fairy. A cloth that hasn’t been washed with softener and a squeegee.”

Some Mrs Hinch fans recommended adding a staple household product to the mix.

One person said: “White vinegar.”

Another wrote: “White vinegar and green Minky.”

Another person agreed, commenting: “Make your own, water and white vinegar.”

One person added: “Fairy liquid, vinegar and water.”

As for the chemical cleaning solutions, Mrs Hinch fans recommended products that are easily available in supermarkets across the UK.

One person posted a photo of a bottle of Whitemaiic cleaning spray with the caption: “This is the best stuff ever! Couldn’t be without it, great for windows and mirrors.”

Another cleaning enthusiast commented: “Astonish Window and Glass Cleaner.”
