1) Where to buy Xbox Series X and S in the UK

It's all a bit up in the air at the moment.

As has been the case for months, stores are largely maintaining radio silence on restock dates to avoid a mad rush when sales re-open.

A number of UK retailers release stock every few weeks that are quickly gobbled up by online shoppers.

They include GAME, John Lewis, Amazon, Argos, Currys, Smyths Toys and Very.

It means that even if you miss out on a restock, there's always another opportunity to try your luck right around the corner.

Recently, GameStop dropped an Xbox Series X restock which bundled the console with newly released game Far Cry 6.

Stocks of electronics, including video game consoles are low across the world due to a worldwide shortage in microchips.

Generally speaking, it's a lot easier to get hold of the Series S than the Series X at the moment, as Microsoft's cheaper console is not as in demand.

The drought is expected to last until at least 2022.
